Common Project Questions

Common questions about our custom projects work. Curious about something else? Reach out—we're happy to help.

What types of residential or commercial renovations do you handle?

We handle kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, historic restorations, additions, and finish-carpentry-driven updates across the New Hampshire Seacoast and Southern Maine. Our background in high-end finish work means the details — trim, built-ins, staircases — are held to the same standard as the structural work. We remodel or renovate commercial properties as well. From studios to small offices, restaurants / bars / cafes, boutiques, retail spaces, salons, or service shops we can remodel or renovate it all.

Do you handle permits, subcontractors, and inspections?

Yes. We manage the full process — pulling permits, coordinating licensed electrical, plumbing, and HVAC subcontractors, and scheduling inspections — so you have a single point of contact across Seacoast NH and Southern Maine municipalities. You're not left chasing trades or town offices. New Hampshire & Southern Maine Seacoast’s (New Hampshire - Strafford & Rockingham Counties and beyond) (Main - York, Cumberland, and Southern Oxford Counties and beyond).

Can we live in our home, or work in our business during the renovation?

Yes. We isolate the work zone with sealed dust barriers, maintain safe access routes, keep a working bathroom or temporary kitchen where needed, and hold to agreed working hours. For whole-home gut renovations we'll tell you honestly if moving out for a phase will save you money and weeks.

Can you renovate an old New England home without losing its character?

That's our specialty. We preserve and restore original details — trim profiles, staircases, doors, built-ins, corbels, — and reproduce them exactly where new work meets old to match historic millwork. Structural and systems updates happen behind the walls; the character stays visible.
